The Star Blade is the newest felting needle design being offered to the nonwoven industry. And it is entirely a development of Foster Needle and is the property of only Foster Needle. The Star Blade is also offered in the Conical Blade style.

The Star Blade is the first felting needle blade to be designed with four barbed edges. Quite understandably, an increase in efficiency (fiber interlocking) will be achieved with the addition of a fourth barbed edge as compared to the three edged triangular blade.
